Periwinkle Cottage - Eastboure Beach House

Wellington City Gaystay is proud to work in partnership with our friend Roger to promote his newly opened Bed and Breakfast.  With the same high standards, Periwinkle Cottage offers a seaside option to compliment your visit to Wellington City.

Periwinkle Cottage was built in 1914 and re-modeled in 2006.  This B+B is exclusively for gay men and gay women (or friends).  There  is a queen-size bed with separate yet private bathroom for guests only. Guests have their own private lounge but are more than welcome to join their host, Roger, in the main lounge / kitchen area.  Periwinkle Cottage has a small yet private garden area for guests to enjoy or they may like an evening meander, with a glass of wine, to the beach only one minutes walk from the cottage.

Periwinkle Cottage is a 20 to 25 mins drive from downtown Wellington along the lovely Eastbourne coastal drive, or a 20min ferry from Wellington to Days Bay (pick up by arrangement).  Periwinkle Cottage is also on the bus route.  The Cottage is a 10 min walk to the Eastbourne shopping area or 25 min meander along the beach to Days Bay.  The address is 8 Miro Stree - map link.

Continental breakfast provisions, (range of cereals, yogurt, fruits, toast breads/pastries, juices, loose leaf teas and plunger coffee) free wireless internet s available and a private TV with a wide range of DVD’s should guests enjoy a ‘blaa” out!

Rate:  1 x queen room $120 double per night.  Email periwinklecottage@xtra.co.nz for information and bookings.  Mention 'gaystay' for the family discount.
